Many of our customers if not all are calling on us due to the fact that the weeds & moss growth has become that bad that its a mammoth task to try and clean it themselves. This is down to poor maintenance. Once a block paved area is laid it looks great for 6 - 12 months then after prolonged british weather it starts to breakdown and dreaded weed & moss growth starts to attack the main jointing sand which keep all the blocks together. Once this occurs the sand is mostly absorbed and taken away and replaced with roots from moss etc and then the blocks have no vital sand keeping them in place. Water from rain and moisture starts to penetrate through the non protected cracks and down into the vital sub base. Eventually this causes fatal collapse and very expensive damage

This can be avoided if correct care is taken on a yearly basis. We ask customers to have their area cleaned by professionals using the correct equipment (not jetwashers). then once the area is totally cleaned we advise they follow our strict maintenance guide until the next time its cleaned. If this is followed then the weeds & moss problem they used to have should be a thing of the past and their area will look great all year round and be the envy of their neighbours who still pluck weeds out on their knees!
